Precision Point Nonabsorbable Nylon Surgical Monofilament Suture, Green, 5/0, 18", with PS-2 Needle, is a sterile, synthetic suture made from long-chain aliphatic polyamide polymers. The monofilament structure ensures minimal tissue drag and reduces the risk of bacterial colonization. Its smooth surface and uniform diameter provide consistent handling and reliable performance in delicate surgical procedures.

The suture is dyed green to enhance visibility during placement, particularly in low-contrast surgical fields. It elicits a minimal acute inflammatory response and is biologically inert. Due to its synthetic composition, the suture undergoes extremely slow encapsulation by connective tissue, with degradation occurring over a period of one to two years.

The PS-2 needle is a precision-sharpened, reverse cutting needle with a 3/8 circle curvature, designed for easy penetration through dense tissues such as skin.
